When an HGTV night turns a dream into reality. A year in the making – from Toronto to Sosua.
April 2021, a lock-down that changed our life dramatically. After watching an episode of ‘Caribbean Life’, we decided to contact the agent who was featured on the show. Within days, we purchased an empty lot and soon after, began working with an architect to plan our villa.
While the process had its challenges no doubt, considering everything was conducted via email, we couldn’t be happier with the final result. We had – and still have – the pleasure of working with a group of incredible people, project managers, architects, builders, real estate agent and lawyers, decorator, construction crew, and many others. You all played a big part in turning our vision into reality.
Not only did you provide excellent service, you are all amazing individuals and we are so glad we got a chance to meet many of you in person on our first trip* to the Dominican when we received the keys to our villa in October 2022.
*We had never been to the DR prior except for a 6 hour cruise ship stop-over in 2018.
